Harley was my first male Golden Retriever. I bought him from Brenda Radcliffe as I loved the look of his sire and dam and already owned his 1/2 sister Nikki who I adored.

Harley has certainly taken me on an interesting journey. Finishing his UKC CH easily, earning a Top 10 finish along the way. He also has 3 wins (needs 5) towards his UKC Grand Championship. His CD took a little longer, but all the more sweet for earning it. Stays were his main problem and attention. He's such a nosey dog that he always had to see what else was more interesting outside the obedience ring.

His RN was earned quite easily in 3 straight shows. Of course you're allowed to talk all you want to a dog in Rally so that helped keep his attention. Currently we are working on his RA. He has one leg and we'll get there.

He also earned is Certificate of Conformation Assessment - given by the Golden Retriever Club of America. This certificate states that he meets the breed standard in conformation. Results of his test can be found here.

Currently Harley is being shown in Rally, Veterans obedience on occasion and we're venturing into the Veterans breed ring. He placed over finished Champions at the 2005 Garden State Specialty in both Sweepstakes and Regular classes.

Harley was from the "Style" litter - he was named for the Harley Davidson. When I saw this toy, I couldn't resist. Strangely enough, Harley did not think too much of it and would not go near it. However, I just had to have a photo with this toy - so we made him hold it. The things he puts up with. :-)
Playing in the snow is one of Harley's favorite past times - as you can tell.
